Quilting/Sewing

The Quilting/Sewing Room is open from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for open sewing.  The Quilting Club is open from 9:00 am - 4:00 on Tuesdays.  New quilters are invited to check it out.  Instructors are available to help you get started and teach various techniques.
 

Arts & Crafts 

• Card Making Workshops are the last Thursday of each month with one session from 9:00 am - noon and another session from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the classroom in the Craft Building.
  
• Pottery – the pottery room is open from 9:30 - noon Monday through Friday.  New Pottery Orientation is at 9:30 every Monday and Wednesday.  Classes are offered every Monday at 1:00 p.m.  A list of the classes is posted in the Pottery Room and instructed by Eleanor Sloane and other guest instrctors
  
• Navajo  weaving - once a week on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Personal instruction also available as needed.
  

Jewelry-Making 

• Beading Class – in the Craft Building classroom on Mondays at 9:30 a.m.
  
• Wire Wrapping – in the Classroom of the Craft Building from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays

Lapidary/Silversmith 

Did you know you can take a rock, slice it to 1/4” thick, grind and polish it into a beautiful stone and fit it into a silver piece?  You can make a broach, necklace, ring or belt buckle.  We can teach you.

• Lapidary-Silversmith Room - open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  Wednesdays are reserved for shop maintenance.
• Lapidary Room is open from 1:00 - 4:00 pm on Mondays through Fridays with Lapidary instruction on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
  
• Beginning Silversmith Class – Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
